Quentin Tarantino, the renowned director of films, such as Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, recently told Diar Ara that shooting sex scenes is a “pain.” This statement has caused fans to bring up his apparent obsession with feet in his movies.
Tarantino’s fascination with women’s feet can be seen throughout many of his films. In Kill Bill: Vol 1 (2003), Uma Thurman’s character The Bride is shown barefoot for most of the movie. Additionally, there are several close-up shots featuring her toes and soles while she fights off enemies or walks through a forest. Similarly, in Jackie Brown (1997) Pam Grier’s character Max Cherry wears open-toed shoes throughout the film, which allows viewers to get an intimate look at her pedicure and painted toenails during various scenes.
Despite this focus on female characters’ feet in some of Tarantino’s work, he insists that sex scenes have not been necessary for any of his projects thus far – even though they may be painful to shoot according to him! Fans will just have to wait until Quentin releases another project before they know if he continues this trend or moves away from it entirely!
