Nintendo recently revealed that there is no set schedule for new Game Boy and GBA games to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service. This means that fans should not expect a regular influx of these classic titles each month.
The company stated, “We do not have any plans at this time regarding when or if additional Game Boy or GBA games will be made available on Nintendo Switch Online.” They went on to explain that they are always looking into ways to provide players with more content and experiences but could not confirm whether further retro titles would arrive in the near future.
While some may feel disappointed by this news, it’s important to remember how many great classic games have already been released as part of the service so far – including The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX, Super Mario Bros 3 and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest among others!
There is still plenty of fun gaming nostalgia for fans who are subscribed members of Nintendo Switch Online.
