His professional experience includes a six-month co-op internship at AWS, which led to a full-time position. After six and a half years at AWS, Masrani felt the need for a career change. His final project at the company, involving customer-managed key encryption, further deepened his interest in data security. This expertise paved the way for his transition to Microsoft’s Purview security team, where he initially joined as a senior software engineer before advancing to his current role as principal software engineer.
