The entertainment world has been rocked by the sudden death of Lance Reddick, star of HBO’s hit series ‘The Wire’. He was 60 years old.
Reddick had a long and successful career in Hollywood, appearing in films, such as White House Down and John Wick, as well as television shows like Oz, Fringe, and The Good Wife. However, it was his role on ‘The Wire’ that made him an icon to many fans around the world. His portrayal of Cedric Daniels earned him critical acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.
His passing has come as a shock to those who knew him personally or professionally; he will be remembered for his impressive body of work over the past three decades but also for being an incredibly kind person off-screen too with friends describing him fondly as “a gentle giant”.
