Noah, thank you so much for joining us today, we are excited to have you on! We’ve been hearing a lot about your company lately. What inspired you to start your Briton Media?
Thank you for having me here! Three years ago, I was inspired to start Briton Media, driven by my passion for helping people and my desire to make a difference. I have always had a strong interest in developing relationships with people and making their lives easier, and Briton Media has given me the platform to do so.
As a founder, I have a strong work ethic, and I’m dedicated to providing value to our clients every day. At the same time, I believe in being kind and treating everyone with respect, which has been a key factor in building a successful business. I love coming to work every day, knowing that I have the opportunity to help podcasters grow their online presence and reach their full potential. The combination of my love for hard work and my commitment to kindness has been the driving force behind Briton Media, and I’m thrilled to see the positive impact that our platform has had on so many people’s lives.
I can certainly attest to that! I think so much of entrepreneurship is hidden in the background, and society rarely sees the struggle that makes a brand a success. What were the most significant challenges you’ve faced starting out?
The first year of operating Briton Media was certainly a challenging one. As a startup, there were many unknowns and obstacles to navigate, and it was often a steep learning curve. However, despite the difficulties, I remained dedicated to the vision of Briton Media and was determined to find a way to make it a success. I worked tirelessly to build the platform and establish our brand, all while learning about the intricacies of running a business.
It wasn’t always easy, but I was driven by my passion for helping podcasters and my belief in the potential of Briton Media. Through hard work, determination, and a willingness to adapt, I was able to overcome the challenges of the first year and lay the foundation for a successful future. Now, as I look back on those early days, I am proud of what I have accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to bring my vision to life.
Passion certainly seems to be a driving force between success and failure in startups, especially with the younger generation. Do you feel there are fundamental differences between different generations when using your services?
The younger generation is increasingly inclined to use podcast marketing, given their familiarity and comfort with technology and their engagement with podcasting. We have seen a significant increase in the number of younger individuals starting podcasts and seeking our assistance in growing their online presence.
This trend is a testament to the growing popularity of podcasting among the younger demographic and their understanding of the importance of establishing a strong online presence. At Briton Media, we are thrilled to see this trend and are committed to supporting the younger generation in their podcasting endeavors. Whether it’s through providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed or by offering guidance and support, we are dedicated to helping the next generation of podcasters reach their full potential.
By leveraging the power of podcasting and technology, the younger generation is driving the growth of the industry and shaping the future of audio content.
I was always a proponent of evolving with technology, and you guys seem to be doing that very well. How do you primarily differentiate yourself from competitors, namely other podcast marketers?
Briton Media sets itself apart from many other podcast marketers by focusing on authenticity and maximizing engagement for our clients. Rather than simply promoting a podcast, we strive to understand our client’s unique needs and goals and develop customized strategies to help them reach their target audience.
Our approach is centered around finding the right audience for each of our clients and reaching them in the most effective way possible. We believe that authenticity is key to building strong relationships and creating meaningful engagement, and we strive to reflect that in all of our work. Our team is passionate about helping podcasters succeed, and we are dedicated to finding the best possible solutions for each of our clients.
Whether it’s through targeted advertising, audience analysis, or personalized marketing strategies, we are committed to delivering the best results and helping our clients reach their full potential.
So a wide range of options is key, it seems, particularly when dealing with clients in very different or niche industries. Do you have any plans to extend Briton Media to other countries or markets?
At Briton Media, our team is focused on expanding our reach and growing our sales and marketing efforts both domestically and internationally. We believe that the podcasting industry has the potential to impact people around the world, and we are committed to making our platform accessible to as many individuals as possible.
In order to achieve this goal, we are actively exploring opportunities to develop partnerships with organizations in different countries and to build a robust sales and marketing team in new regions. This will allow us to provide our clients with the support and resources they need to succeed, no matter where they are located.
Our goal is to create a global network of podcast marketers who are passionate about helping podcasters reach their full potential, and we are eager to see what the future holds. Whether it’s through expanding our team, developing new partnerships, or exploring new markets, we are always looking for ways to grow and improve our offerings, and we believe that there is so much more that we can accomplish in the years to come.
Sounds like an ambitious plan, but one you guys are on track to reach. I know it’s easy to get tunnel vision focusing on the present, but what would you say was the most memorable experience in the entire process early on?
One of the most memorable experiences at Briton Media was when we started to receive recognition from blogs and landed our first ten clients. It was incredibly fulfilling to see our hard work pay off and to begin building relationships with our clients. It was especially exciting to see people hearing about our services and learning about Briton Media. Those early days were filled with a sense of excitement and possibility, and we felt a strong connection to our clients and a sense of pride in the work that we were doing.
As our clients saw their online presence and listenership grow, it reinforced our belief in the value of our services and the importance of the work that we do. Those early successes provided a foundation for us to build upon and fueled our determination to continue improving and growing our offerings. The experience of seeing the positive impact of our work on our clients and the recognition we received from the broader community was truly one of the best experiences of our lives, and it remains a source of inspiration for us today.
Truly inspiring! But I also assume meeting all those expectations must be very demanding. What strategies do you use to overcome stress and the inevitable roadblocks to moving forward?
As a busy entrepreneur, I often face a variety of stressors in my daily work at Briton Media. However, I have developed several strategies to help me overcome stress and manage my workload effectively.
One of my favorite ways to relieve stress is by listening to music. Music has the ability to transport me to another place, allowing me to recharge and refresh my mind. I also find that creating systems and processes to work smarter, not harder, is key to managing my workload effectively. By streamlining my tasks and organizing my time, I am able to maximize my efficiency and minimize the stress of a busy work schedule.
Whether it’s through implementing time-management tools or establishing clear goals and objectives, I am constantly looking for ways to work more effectively and achieve more with my time. By taking a strategic approach to managing my workload, I am able to focus my energy and attention where it is most needed, reducing stress and improving my overall well-being.
Music does have a way of hitting the reset button on our minds, so to speak. Now when it comes to target markets, which market would be ideal for Briton Media’s prospective clients?
At Briton Media, we are passionate about working with podcasters who have a great vision and intention. These are the individuals who are driven to create content that inspires, informs, and entertains their audience. They are dedicated to their craft and understand the importance of building a strong online presence and growing their listenership.
We believe that these podcasters have the potential to make a real impact in the world, and we are honored to play a role in helping them achieve their goals. Whether it’s through developing targeted marketing strategies, providing audience analysis, or simply lending an ear and offering support, we are committed to working closely with our clients to help them reach their full potential. By focusing on podcasters with a great vision and intention, we are able to provide our clients with the support and resources they need to succeed and make a lasting impact on the world.
So, in a way, people who are as passionate about their brand as you guys are with your own. What has the overall feedback been from customers regarding your services?
The feedback and results we have received from growing podcasters and their audience with our services at Briton Media have been overwhelmingly positive.
We love seeing the progress our clients make and hearing their success stories, and the case studies are a testament to the impact we are making. It is especially exciting to read the ones where our clients were able to leave their current situation and dive into podcasting full-time. It’s a powerful reminder of the potential that podcasting has to offer and how our services can help people turn their passion into a career.
Seeing the growth and success of our clients drives us to continue working hard and improving our offerings. We are committed to providing the best possible support and resources to help our clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The positive feedback and results we have received are a source of inspiration and motivation for us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world of podcasting.
That is great to hear and must be very inspiring for you. Who has been your greatest source of inspiration in this entire process?
My family is my biggest inspiration when it comes to growing Briton Media. They have always been a source of support and encouragement, and their unique perspectives have helped me see things in new and different ways.
Having a supportive family has been instrumental in helping me overcome challenges and find creative solutions to complex problems. They have also been a source of inspiration when it comes to staying focused on my goals and staying true to my values. I believe that having a strong support system is crucial for success, and my family has been an invaluable source of strength and inspiration for me. Their love and support have been a driving force behind my success, and I am grateful for the role they have played in my personal and professional growth.
By taking a family-first approach to business, I am able to balance my work and personal life, ensuring that I am always doing my best for both myself and those who matter most.
That is fantastic to hear, Noah! As work-life balance is key to our mental sanity in the age of constant connections. What were your greatest fears when starting Briton Media?
Starting Briton Media was a dream come true, but it was also a source of fear and uncertainty. My biggest fear was that I didn’t have the knowledge or experience to make the business successful. I had never run a business before, and I was concerned about making the wrong decisions, missing important opportunities, or simply failing. This fear was compounded by the fact that I was entering a highly competitive and rapidly changing industry.
But despite these fears, I was determined to make Briton Media a success. I knew that I had to work hard, learn quickly, and be willing to take risks. I surrounded myself with mentors, advisors, and partners who could help me navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business. And over time, I gained the confidence and experience I needed to lead Briton Media to success.
Today, I am proud of what we have achieved, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients and the world of podcasting. Despite my fears, I never let them stop me from pursuing my dreams, and I am proud of what we have accomplished.
Truly humbling! What advice would you give to a new entrepreneur?
As a successful entrepreneur, I believe that the most important thing for anyone starting a new business is to simply commit to their idea and start. Far too often, new entrepreneurs get bogged down in the details and become paralyzed by fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
They spend months or even years researching, planning, and preparing and never actually get around to starting their business. But the truth is, the only way to truly learn about running a business is to actually start one. You can read all the books, attend all the workshops, and talk to all the experts, but until you get your hands dirty, you’ll never fully understand what it takes to succeed. That’s why I would encourage any new entrepreneur to simply commit to their idea, take the leap, and start.
Once you’ve started, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and adapt as you go. You’ll make mistakes, but you’ll also make progress, and you’ll gain the knowledge and experience you need to build a successful business. So if you have a great idea and a passion for entrepreneurship, don’t wait. Commit to your idea, start your business, and figure the rest out later. You never know what you might achieve!
