This past weekend, Asheville was the site of an inspiring event. More than 250 mothers and daughters who are running their small businesses gathered in the city for the Western Women’s Business Center Conference. The conference provided a platform for female business owners to come together and share ideas, network with each other, learn from mentors, and be empowered by one another’s success stories.
The attendees had a wide range of backgrounds — some were seasoned entrepreneurs while others were just starting on their journey to owning a business. A variety of topics related to entrepreneurship were discussed, such as marketing strategies, financial planning tips, and legal advice that could help them grow their businesses further. Attendees also got the chance to hear from keynote speakers who shared powerful stories about how they achieved success despite facing many challenges along the way due to being women in male-dominated industries or fields.
At this empowering event, it was clear that these female business owners have what it takes not only to succeed but thrive! They left feeling inspired by all they heard at this conference, which will no doubt help them continue with confidence toward achieving even greater heights in their respective ventures!
