Arkane Hoped Microsoft Would Cancel Or Reboot ‘Redfall’, the worst-reviewed major release of 2023. This game was a black eye on Microsoft’s first-party ambitions and a huge disappointment for Arkane Studios, previously known for producing some of the best games in recent memory.
It is no surprise that Arkane hoped to cancel or reboot Redfall as it has been met with overwhelmingly negative reviews since its launch last month. The game received such poor scores due to its lack of content and technical issues that made it almost unplayable at times. Players have also complained about long loading screens, frequent crashes, and terrible AI, which all contribute to an overall bad experience when playing this title.
Microsoft should have seen these signs before launching Redfall but unfortunately, they decided not to listen to their developers who were warning them about potential problems with the game before the release date arrived. It is clear now that canceling or rebooting this project would be beneficial for both parties involved as they could start fresh without having any negative associations attached to their names anymore. Hopefully, Microsoft will learn from this mistake and put more effort into testing future releases so something like this doesn’t happen again in the future!
