Experts Confirm Meteorite Caused Hole in Family’s House

Experts have confirmed that the mysterious rock found in a New Jersey family’s home is, indeed, a meteorite. The avocado-sized object crashed through the roof of their house and landed on the floor below. After being examined by researchers at Rutgers University, it was determined that this rock had come from outer space.

The meteorite is believed to be part of an asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter called “the main asteroid belt.” It is estimated to be 4 billion years old and composed primarily of iron-nickel alloy with traces of other elements such as cobalt or phosphorus.
