“It’s a numbers game,” Nair explained, describing his approach to cold reach-outs. “The goal is to get a response from at least one person.” He used a brief message template, focusing on clarity and relevance to increase his chances of receiving a reply.

To prepare, he researched online forums, refreshed his technical skills, and conducted mock interviews with friends.
