Lincoln’s 2025 Nautilus Reserve Redefines Luxury SUV Segment
Lincoln’s latest offering, the 2025 Nautilus Reserve, is making waves in the luxury SUV market. Manufactured in Hangzhou, China, this midsize SUV has quickly become Lincoln’s best-selling model since its 2024 launch, earning praise for its elegant styling, upscale interior, and advanced technology.
The Nautilus lineup starts with the base Premiere model at $51,890, while the top-spec Black Label trim commands $75,050. The mid-grade Reserve trim, starting at $61,010, offers a sweet spot in the range, with test models reaching over $67,000.
Aesthetically, the Nautilus boasts a clean, uncluttered design with minimal badging. It features integrated door handles shared with the Lincoln Continental and includes Ford’s Securicode keyless keypad for added convenience.
Under the hood, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers 250 horsepower and 280 ft.-lb. of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive, the Nautilus is tuned for comfort rather than sporty performance.
The driving experience is characterized by smooth, effortless cruising. Ford’s Blue Cruise handsfree driving technology, along with intelligent adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping systems, enhances the vehicle’s appeal to tech-savvy drivers.
Inside, the Nautilus competes with luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz and Lexus. The cabin features soft-touch leather, metallic finishes, and wood accents, although some critics note the lack of physical climate controls.
A standout feature is the 48-inch Panoramic Screen spanning the front dash, controlled by an 11.1-inch touchscreen with a Google-based operating system. The infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The Nautilus also introduces unique elements like an oval-shaped steering wheel for improved instrument visibility and 24-way adjustable, massaging front seats. A novel “Rejuvenate” feature offers an in-car spa experience, combining heat, massage, sounds, scents, and visuals.
Rear passengers enjoy 43.1 inches of legroom with heated seats and USB-C plugs. The SUV offers 35.2 cubic feet of cargo space, expandable to 68.8 cubic feet, and includes a spare tire even in hybrid models.
As one of only two Chinese-made vehicles sold in the US under a domestic brand, the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve stands out in the luxury SUV market. With its blend of style, quiet ride, and advanced technology, it’s positioned as a strong contender against established German brands, particularly appealing to younger luxury buyers.
