Lyst, the leading fashion search platform, has released its highly anticipated Q4 2024 ranking of the hottest fashion brands. The list, compiled based on the behavior of 200 million shoppers, takes into account factors such as searches, product views, sales, and social media engagement.
This quarter’s ranking features a mix of established luxury houses and rising stars, with brands like Miu Miu and The Row securing spots in the coveted top 10 list.
UGG Makes Its Debut
In a surprising turn of events, UGG has made its first appearance on the list in 2024. The brand experienced “unprecedented” demand in Q4, with searches skyrocketing by 358%. UGG’s success is reflected in its financial performance, with net sales increasing by 16.1% to approximately $2.2 billion in fiscal year 2024. The brand’s Classic Ultra Mini Boots ranked as the second hottest product in Q4, highlighting UGG’s successful strategy in tapping into the Gen Z market through partnerships and TikTok trends.
The Row Gains Momentum
The Row, founded by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen in 2006, has solidified its position in the luxury fashion market. The brand received significant investments from the Wertheimer brothers and Francoise Bettencourt Meyers in 2024, further boosting its profile. The Row’s popularity among celebrities like Saoirse Ronan, Pamela Anderson, and Dakota Johnson has contributed to its rising status.
Moncler and Alaïa Show Strong Growth
Moncler reported impressive revenues of around 1.57 billion euros in the first nine months of 2024, focusing on building lasting customer connections and creating brand energy. Miu Miu Dominates the Rankings
Miu Miu emerged as the standout brand of 2024, topping Lyst’s rankings in three out of four quarters. The brand’s retail sales increased by an impressive 97% year on year in the first nine months of 2024, with its gray fleece sweatshirt ranking as the third-hottest product in Q4.
