Mr. Gumball, it’s a pleasure to have you here today! Could you give us a glimpse into your company, Mr.Gumball Coin?
My pleasure! The Mr.Gumball project is a unique ecosystem encompassing AR hardware and software that allows users to interact with our coins, NFTs, and apparel connected to an ever-growing environment. Our company is also dedicated to offering a special minting experience, allowing NFT buyers to personalize their NFTs according to their preferences rather than just what an artist markets.
That sounds fascinating! Can you share what inspired you to start this unique ecosystem?
It was when I first saw the prototype of the AR glasses and their functionality. It triggered an avalanche of innovative ideas, linking AR and crypto into an expandable ecosystem. Later that evening, when I saw a Gumball machine at a local restaurant, I had a Eureka moment about how things could come together in one environment.
Creating a successful business can be challenging. What were the greatest hurdles you faced when starting?
Creating an appropriate business model and assembling the perfect team to assist in the creation of Mr.Gumball.
It’s interesting to see how different generations interact with technology. Do you notice any fundamental differences in how various age groups use your product?
Today’s generation is vastly tech-centric and wants to own and control the tech they purchase and invest in. Older generations prefer tech that is easy to understand, straightforward, and generalized. We aim to bring generations together with easy-to-control options yet fully customizable to one’s experience.
Your approach of focusing on a comprehensive ecosystem sets you apart from others. How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors?
We aim to be a company that focuses on a whole ecosystem, where every product we launch is vital to our growth and survival. Other companies focus on one product and hope for it to be a flagship. Our ecosystem IS our flagship.
Expanding to new markets can be exciting. Do you have any plans to launch Mr.Gumball Coin in other countries?
We plan to launch in North America, with eventual expansion worldwide as demand grows for our coin and services. Mr. Gumball aims to launch our AR/Coin drop pilot program in Mexico to test our system. We aim to secure new partnerships with internationally known brands and satisfy the future needs of our customers and investors.
Building a business must be filled with memorable moments. Could you share one experience that stands out in the entire process?
The friendships and partnerships created along the way and watching everyone work as a team to bring this vision to life. We aim to be a company that will eventually bring the crypto community together.
Dealing with stress and roadblocks is crucial for any entrepreneur. What strategies do you and your team employ to overcome these challenges?
We have online team chats where we take each other’s problems, talk them out, and provide the support that we all need. Not one person in our team or their families is unimportant. We handle the inevitable roadblocks the same way, talk them out, and are all responsible for coming up with some sort of solution.
It’s great to have a broad target audience. Who do you think would be an ideal user for your product or service?
Anyone willing to be technically adventurous, whether they sit at a computer or hike a trail, we want to be used by all.
The recent economic events have affected many businesses. How did your company adapt to the changes in the market?
We have learned to accept the fact that the supply chain has slowed tech progress in getting products to market, and with that, we adapted our timeline to launch our Coin and NFT lines just prior to our AR glasses.
Having pride in your projects is admirable. Among your ventures, is there one that you are particularly proud of, and why?
To be honest, I’m proud of everything. I can’t truly say one thing is above another, only because each piece of this machine we’re developing serves a purpose. We aim to generate functional growth for the company, our users, investors, and many more. Our AR glasses (tba) are customizable, lightweight, and fashionable, thanks to our R&D team and manufacturers. Our apparel is interactive, well-designed, and will have geo-tagging multi-function capability. I’m just very proud to be the CEO of Mr. Gumball and watch everything we work for blossom into an innovative company.
It’s natural to have fears while starting a venture. What were your greatest fears when launching Mr.Gumball Coin?
To lag technology, we want to be a leader in the market. If we get left behind, that would be our greatest tragedy.
Your journey as an entrepreneur has been inspiring. If you could give advice to your past self or to new entrepreneurs, what would it be?
Be passionate about your endeavor(s), and never give up on your dreams. There may be times when things don’t go your way, and doubt will pile to the ceiling, but don’t let that stop you from your end goal. Remember, anyone can start a business, but it takes a certain type of team to launch something special that will make an impact on society and lead for generations. “An entrepreneur should focus on leading, not existing.”
