For twenty years, a mystery surrounded the disappearance of an alligator egg from the Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo in Texas. Recently, wildlife officials were able to solve this case when they discovered an 8-foot-long American alligator living as a pet in the backyard of a former zoo volunteer.
The gator was identified as Tewa and returned to her rightful home at the zoo. After being given proper medical attention, she is now thriving in her new habitat with other animals that share similar species traits.
The former owner has been invited by zoo staff to come to visit Tewa anytime he wishes; however, he needs to understand that due to safety concerns, he will not be allowed into any animal enclosures or cages during his visits. He can still observe Tewa from afar while enjoying everything else that this unique facility has on offer for its visitors – including educational programs about snakes and reptiles!
In conclusion, it’s great news that after two decades apart from each other Tewa was reunited with her original home at Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo where she can live out her life happily alongside others of her kind!
