Tesla recently released a video showcasing early sketches of potential electric car designs, and it appears that the company may have accidentally revealed what its upcoming budget hatchback will look like. The design looks much different than Tesla’s current models, with an angular shape and a more traditional roofline. It also features unique headlights, taillights, side mirrors, and wheels that suggest the vehicle could be quite affordable.
The new model is expected to cost around USD 25k when it hits markets later this year or next year – making it one of the most affordable electric vehicles available on the market today. This could make owning an EV accessible to many more people who previously thought they couldn’t afford one due to their high price tags.
It remains unclear if these sketches are indeed for Tesla’s upcoming budget hatchback or not but either way they give us some insight into how future EVs from Tesla might look in terms of design language as well as affordability options for consumers looking to get behind-the-wheel of an EV without breaking the bank.
